I have just recently installed these so there hasn't be much time for a problem to arise. I will mention a few things. Installation is a little bit harder than the video shows because they skip the hard steps like removing the back of the seat without breaking the plastic tabs, or hiding the wire under the kick panels and running it under the console. Also, because the video/audio out is next to the power connectors, I left all the wiring in the back of the seat and ran my own power wire from the back of the seat to the fuse box. If you run the wire they give you, then to connect the two monitors together, you have to run a video cable from your fuse box to the other monitor. For the simplest install, I ran the power from one DVD to the power of the other DVD, then ran one wire to the fuse box.
Overall they are a great buy. we really like to play the audio over the car sound system. Like mentioned earlier, turn the volume on one dvd to zero and one set one dvd to FM for best sound. Have not tried the headphones yet, kids are too young.

Just wanted to update this product in regards to the A/V aux out not working from one headrest to the other. The USB input and DVD will output to each headrest but for some odd reason the A/V input will not output...spoke with Brandon and this was just a limitation of the headrest. So I ended up buying a 4x2 Selector Switch from cablestogo, which takes the A/V inputs and will output to both headrest simultaneously (also makes connections simple!). Now my Nintendo Wii and my WDTV output to both headrests with zero problems. I love it.
I also want to add a note in regards to the FM audio transmission...I noticed if you have both headrests set to output FM then you will get audio hiss/crackle, but if you set only one headrest to output FM the audio should sound great...at least it does for me!
Hope that helps.

These headrest's look better in person. The "Tan" is slightly darker than my Beige interior, but its hardly noticeable. Install was pretty easy, but watching the onfair video only shows you one headrest install, you have to figure out for yourself how to wire for two. I ended up running to the fuse box, so what I did was buy some 18 awg wire from an auto store, and also bought the "add a fuse". First I soldered both headrest 'power' wires together, and then soldered both 'ground' wires together. Then I soldered my 18awg wire (using enough length) to my power wire and ran it from underneath the driver seat to the fuse box. Then soldered another 18awg wire to my ground wires(but keep as short as possible) and connected to the metal body. Everything is neatly hidden underneath the seat. The next task is figuring out the A/V connections. In my opinion it is not very well thought out...composite cable is way too long for most purposes, and is running along side the power cable. They come with composite switchers, which are pretty cheap and bulky, but get the job done. After everything was connected I tested them out, and was pleasantly surprised. The picture is actually pretty good with only one complaint being screen glare is bad during the day! (I bought some iPad type anti-glare screen protectors so hopefully they will help) and I know others complain of the FM audio transmission, but I had zero issues. My son watched 'Finding Nemo' and I had the audio playing over the car stereo. No crackles, no hiss, no signal drop out...so I was happy. Also the headrest's do not seem to remember your picture settings (brightness, contrast etc) perhaps having to do with how you wire it. I have it to the fuse, but only when ignition is on/off. I have not tried the game system, but I did install my own Nintendo Wii (also using the fuse box, 12v is fine) and also installed a WDTV. Both devices work great, I just have to figure out how to get signal to both headrest, some odd reason it does not send when using AUX input from the 'master' headrest. Im sure I'll find a way around this, no biggie. I would rate my car electronic knowledge as beginner to modest, and so I was a little hesitant about installing anything myself. But after all was said and done Im glad I did not pay someone $100 to install. Its actually easier than you think, the hard part is all the little tedious things like figuring out how to open the seat, removing door trim, deciding where the wires should go etc. Ive never done anything like this before, so anyone can do it. Just take your time and do it right.
